This is my entry for the Ichiruki Christmas contest for 
So the thought was that the string is like a part of one of those traditional Christmas popcorn and cranberry garlands. And they are getting closer...and closer...and then MWAAAA! (under the non-existant misletoe that is danging somewhere above them off the page Xp)
